This triumph not only propelled them into the semi-finals of the 21-team tournament but also confirmed their qualification as one of the top four teams for the final round, set to be held in the Czech Republic from 4 to 9 August.

Earlier in the group stage, Bangladesh achieved their highest-ever finish by breaking into the top eight. They reached this milestone with a 2-0 victory over Saudi Arabia, following a dominant 3-0 win against Nepal.
