Karmasangsthan Bank business review meeting held at Comilla

"Business Review Meeting" held on 22 February 2025 at Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD), Comilla, with the participation of all Regional Managers, Branch Managers and 2nd Officers under the Comilla, Chandpur, Brahmanbaria, Noakhali and Laxmipur regions of Karmasangsthan Bank.

Chairman (former secretary) of Karmasangsthan Bank AFM Motiur Rahman was present as the chief guest and inaugurated the business review meeting. Managing Director Arun Kumar Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director Meher Sultana and General Manager Md Amirul Islam were present as special guests. DGM of Loan Recovery Department of Karmasangsthan Bank Head Office Md. Aktar Hossain Pradhan also present while DGM of Chittagong Divisional Office Md. Momtaz Uddin presided over the meeting.

In his speech, the chief guest called on everyone to increase loan recovery and emphasised the importance of working hard to achieve the 100% target in all indicators.

In his speech, the Managing Director advised identifying the lagging indicators in the mentioned areas and working earnestly to solve them. He emphasised disbursing loans based on quality and ensuring no new loan defaults. He reviews the loans on a case-to-case basis in the branch and advises on necessary steps to take them from present to improved. He emphasised increasing the rate of recovery, the rate of classified loan collection, and reducing defaulted loans.
