IUBAT holds 4th executive committee elections

The 4th Executive Committee elections of the Civil Engineering Alumni Association of the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT), the first private university in Bangladesh, were held today.

The Civil Engineering Department of IUBAT has graduated over 2000 engineers in 47 batches, who are now contributing to the country's development. Voting began at 10:00 AM and concluded at 5:00 PM. In a festive atmosphere, 89% of voters exercised their franchise. After the counting, the convening committee announced the results. A 35-member executive committee was elected.

Engineer Abdullah Al Noman Prince (Managing Director, APC Group) was elected President of the IUBAT Civil Engineering Alumni Association and Lion Engineer Md. Habibur Rahman Milton (Chief Engineer and Director, TMSS) was elected General Secretary.

After the election, Professor Dr Engineer Monirul Islam, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Head of the Civil Engineering Department, and Engineer Lehaz Uddin, the outgoing President of the Association, congratulated the newly elected committee.
