BADC chairman inspects jute seed production activities

Mohammad Ruhul Amin Khan, the Chairman (Grade-1) of the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC), has been actively visiting various regions to oversee the corporation's operational dynamics.
As part of this ongoing initiative, the BADC Chairman recently inspected jute seed production activities in Chapainawabganj, Rajshahi.
While participating in a farmer and dealer training program organised by the Jute Seed Division on January 2, 2025, the Chairman emphasised the significance of jute as one of Bangladesh's primary cash crops. He highlighted the need to accelerate BADC's existing efforts to produce high-quality jute seeds that are aligned with farmers' demands. Additionally, he underscored the importance of encouraging farmers to use domestic jute seeds and reduce reliance on imported seeds. Motivating farmers to cultivate jute, he appealed to their patriotism.
