Qualitative changes must be brought in the country's  politics for the greater interest of the nation, BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury said today.

"There has been a big change in the politics of Bangladesh after ousting the fascist Sheikh Hasina regime. In the new politics, we have to understand how the new generation thinks and politics must be done that way," he said while speaking in a view-exchange meeting with leaders and activists of local BNP at his Mehedibagh residence this morning.

He urged the leaders and workers of BNP to work in a united way to move the country forward.

"In the past few days, we have shed blood on the streets, many leaders and activists have landed in jail, and lives of our leaders and activists were lost," he added.

BNP leaders Md. Ashraf Chowdhury, Mamunul Islam Humayun, Md. Monir Chowdhury, Mohammad Ledu Member, Md. Babul Company and Mohammad Baten among others attended the meeting.
