A woman was killed when a pickup truck hit her car from behind at Dhaleshwari Toll Plaza in Munshiganj on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway amid dense fog.

The deceased was identified as Panna Banik, 35, resident of Bajitpur area of ​​Kishoreganj.

Hasara Highway Police said the incident occurred around 6am today (23 December) and several people were also injured in the incident.

The body of the deceased was recovered and sent to the Srinagar Upazila Health Complex, from where it was taken to the Srinagar police station, according to the Fire Service.
