Comprehensive healthcare platform Shukhee launched
Shukhee is now accessible via the Shukhee app on Google Play and App Store, through www.shukhee.com, or by dialling 10657

Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions (GDHS) has launched a healthcare platform, Shukhee, a comprehensive healthcare platform designed to provide seamless access to healthcare services across Bangladesh.
The official launch took place at Telecom Bhaban in Dhaka today (28 November).
Shukhee is now accessible via the Shukhee app on Google Play and App Store, through www.shukhee.com, or by dialling 10657.
With the tagline "Your Complete Healthcare Solution", Shukhee offers an extensive 360-degree healthcare service featuring 16 key components that cater to individuals and corporations alike, according to the officials.
The platform provides teleconsultations with doctors from multiple specialities, lab tests with doorstep sample collection services, and extensive medicine delivery coverage through the country's largest network.
In addition to emergency services such as ambulance coordination and blood bank access, wellness products are available via a dedicated e-commerce ecosystem.
Furthermore, the service will provide specialised services, including caregivers, nannies, parent care, and non-medical professionals like nutritionists, psychologists, and physiotherapists.
Shukhee has introduced the "Shukhee Sheba Kendro," which transforms semi-urban and rural pharmacies into digital healthcare centres, aiming to bridge the healthcare gap in remote areas. Users in remote areas or those with feature phones can also access services by dialling 10657.
Md Afjal Hossain Roni, the partnership specialist at GDHS, said phone consultations are charged at Tk2 per minute while consulting with a general physician via the mobile app costs Tk 20.
He added that after confirming a pre-booking at least 24 hours earlier, Tk150 to Tk500 has to be paid to get specialist doctors counselling for 10-15 minutes. Charges have to be paid through a mobile financing service.
Currently, 250 doctors are providing services through Shukhee, and the authorities want to increase the number to at least 1,000 within the next three months, said Md Afjal Hossain.
Md Ashraful Hassan, chairman of Grameen Group, emphasised Shukhee's mission, saying, "Our daily lives are filled with challenges, and access to quality healthcare should not be one of them. With Shukhee, we aim to make healthcare accessible and convenient for every family, no matter where they are."
Dr Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui, CEO of GDHS, said, "Shukhee's approach to healthcare is a game-changer for Bangladeshis both at home and abroad, offering a one-stop solution for all healthcare needs."
Meanwhile, an agreement was signed for a strategic partnership between Grameen Yemen and Shukhee, marking the platform's expansion into the Middle East.
Officials highlighted that this collaboration aims to extend Shukhee's innovative healthcare services to underserved populations in Yemen and beyond, aligning with its mission to provide sustainable and inclusive global healthcare solutions.
