Fire at Purana Paltan's Sabbir Tower under control after 4 hours
No casualties, cause of the fire unknown

A fire, which broke out on the top floor of Sabbir Tower in the capital's Purana Paltan today (3 May), was brought under control after four hours of efforts.
Firefighting units doused the blaze at 12:25am, according to the fire service headquarters.
"The fire was reported around 8:25pm. Six firefighting units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence were dispatched to bring the blaze under control," Md Anwar, an official at the Fire Service headquarters, told The Business Standard.
"Later, one more unit joined," the official added.
No casualties were reported.
The cause of the fire remained unknown.
