Milestone crash: 9-year-old burn victim dies in ICU, death toll rises to 32
A nine-year-old child, who had been undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery since the Bangladesh Air Force jet crashed into the Milestone school premises in Uttara on Monday (21 July), has died.
At 12:15am last night, Nafi, who had been admitted in the hospital with 95% flame burns, succumbed to his injuries, confirmed Shawon Bin Rahman, resident surgeon (emergency).
With Nafi's passing, the death toll from the tragic Milestone school jet crash has now risen to 32.
