Foreign direct investment (FDI) in South Asia decreased slightly by 0.1% in 2024, falling to $33.12 billion from $33.16 billion in 2023. In contrast, total global FDI increased marginally by 3.7% to $1.51 trillion in 2024, up from $1.46 trillion in 2023.
