Local handset production falls 21% YoY in July 2025

Mobile handset production in Bangladesh fell by 5.62 lakh units, marking a 21% year-on-year decline, in July this year. However, monthly production in July rose 31.64% compared to June, when 16.31 lakh handsets were produced. There has been no production of 3G phones since January 2023.
