Local mobile handset production rose 20% in Febuary

Local mobile handset production in Bangladesh rose by 2.75 lakh units to 16.74 lakh in February this year, registering a 20% month-on-month increase. This rebound came after a sharp 24% decline to an 11-month low in January 2026.

Note: There has been no production of 3G phones since Jan 2023
