According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB), Bangladesh has three international airports – Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram, and Osmani International Airport in Sylhet – as well as 12 domestic airports. Of the domestic airports, five are operational: Cox's Bazar, Shah Makhdum (Rajshahi), Jashore, Saidpur, and Barishal.
