University of Dhaka Accounting Forum (UDAF) launches PRODIGIES 6.0

The University of Dhaka Accounting Forum (UDAF) has announced the launch of its flagship case competition, "PRODIGIES 6.0: Crafting Solutions, Forging Leaders," presented by Bashundhara Exercise Book and co-sponsored by Knit Valley Fashions Limited. With this latest edition, the event breaks new ground by opening participation to students from across the entire Faculty of Business Studies (FBS), marking a significant expansion from its earlier, department-exclusive format.
PRODIGIES has long been the signature initiative of UDAF, designed to bridge academic learning with the practical rigour of real-world business challenges. Traditionally limited to first-year students of the Department of Accounting, the competition now offers a wider and more inclusive platform, promising fresh perspectives, broader collaboration, and greater engagement within the FBS community.
The competition will unfold over three phases. The first round will be conducted online, testing teams on their analytical aptitude and problem-solving abilities. The second round will take place offline, where participants will delve deeper into complex corporate scenarios, requiring strategic thinking, teamwork, and well-reasoned business decisions. The final round is scheduled for 26 July at the University of Dhaka campus, where finalists will present their projects before a distinguished panel comprising faculty members, industry mentors, and representatives from the sponsoring organisations.
UDAF extends heartfelt appreciation to Bashundhara Exercise Book, known for its trusted and high-quality stationery products, and to Knit Valley Fashions Limited, a leading name in sustainable textiles and fashion. Both sponsors have demonstrated a deep commitment to nurturing education, leadership, and innovation. Their support adds significant industry relevance and creative inspiration to the event, enriching the experience for all participants.
With PRODIGIES 6.0, UDAF aims to ignite ideas, sharpen leadership potential, and bridge the gap between academic insight and real-world enterprise. This year's edition promises to be a transformative journey for aspiring business leaders from every corner of FBS.
