University of Dhaka Accounting Forum hosts freshers' reception "UDAF Says Hi"

The University of Dhaka Accounting Forum (UDAF), a prominent club of the Department of Accounting & Information Systems (A&IS), hosted its annual freshers' reception, "UDAF Says Hi," at TSC Auditorium. This year's theme, "UDAF Cafe," symbolized a dynamic relationship among students, faculty, and alumni.
The event welcomed the 30th batch of A&IS students, promoting unity and a sense of belonging. Distinguished guests included Md. Kyser Hamid, CEO of Bangladesh Finance Limited, and Mohammad Mostafa, MD of Sajan Group, whose presence underscored the importance of industry-academia collaboration. The event featured cultural performances, including a specially composed theme song for the department, written by Debopriyo Bhattacharya, Ayshee Reberio, and Nandito Banik, and composed by Benjamin Tripura, Nandito Banik, Safrat Ali, and Ahon Ahmed.
Notable faculty members, including Prof. Md. Maksudur Rahman Sarker, Chairman of the Department of Accounting & Information Systems, and other esteemed professors also attended the event.
A series of cultural performances, including drama, dance, and a ramp show, offered students a break from academic routine and created a joyful atmosphere. "UDAF Says Hi" exemplified UDAF's commitment to fostering a cohesive community and providing a platform for students to engage beyond the classroom, making it a memorable start for the new batch of students.
