CU Debate Fest 2025 kicks off tomorrow at Chittagong University

Chittagong University Debating Society (CUDS) is set to host the CU Debate Fest 2025 on January 24 and 25. The two-day English debate festival will feature exciting rounds of competition and engaging activities.

The first day of the festival will include a five-round debate competition at the Faculty of Business Administration. On the second day, the festival will conclude with the final debates and a closing ceremony, which will be held at the Zilla Shilpakala Academy auditorium in Chattogram.

This year's event will follow the British Parliamentary (BP) Debate format, with 24 teams competing. Over 50 students, including participants from leading universities in Dhaka, Chittagong, and Khulna, will join the competition. The debates will be adjudicated by the country's best judges alongside invited experts.
