Hult Prize Bangladesh holds fifth ‘Elevate Bangladesh’ workshop at CU
The fifth edition of 'Elevate Bangladesh: The Hult Prize Campus Organisers' Workshop' was held on 17 January 2026 at the University of Chittagong, marking another milestone in Hult Prize Bangladesh's nationwide efforts to empower student leaders and promote social entrepreneurship.
The workshop brought together campus organisers from leading universities across Chattogram, providing a collaborative platform for leadership development, strategic planning, and capacity building. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening campus operations and expanding the impact of student-led social ventures.
The programme opened with welcome remarks by Deputy Campus Directors Karin Saffana and Kazi Muhaiminul Islam Munaj of Hult Prize at the University of Chittagong, who underscored the role of youth leadership in driving sustainable change.
Tanvir Anjum Shovon, Research and Innovation Secretary of the Chittagong University Central Students' Union and former National Coordinator of Hult Prize Bangladesh, delivered a keynote address. Sharing his experiences, he highlighted the importance of innovation, perseverance, and collaboration in building impactful student initiatives.
The workshop formally commenced with opening remarks from National Coordinator Md Aminul Islam, followed by training sessions led by members of the Hult Prize Bangladesh national team. These sessions focused on strategic planning, execution frameworks, and best practices for campus engagement, equipping organisers with practical tools to strengthen their programmes.
The event concluded with closing remarks from Khaled Mahmud Onik, Campus Director of Hult Prize at the University of Chittagong, who emphasised the importance of teamwork and a shared vision in scaling student-led impact.
Hult Prize Bangladesh expressed gratitude to the University of Chittagong organising team for their hospitality and coordination. Appreciation was also extended to campus teams from International Islamic University Chittagong, University of Science and Technology Chittagong, Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, East Delta University, BGC Trust University Bangladesh, Chittagong Independent University, and Premier University for their participation.
Following successful workshops in Rajshahi, Barishal, Khulna, Sylhet, and Chattogram, the Elevate Bangladesh initiative continues to expand its reach, empowering the next generation of changemakers across the country.
