Millie Bobby Brown to star and produce Netflix’s adaptation of ‘The Girls I’ve Been’

'Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown has signed on to star in an adaptation of Tess Sharpe's YA novel 'The Girls I've Been.'

Brown will also produce through her PCMA Productions while Bateman will produce through his Aggregate Films Banner along with his partner Michael Costigan, reported by Deadline.

Brown will play Nora O'Malley, the daughter of a con artist who picked up many of her mother's tricks and has become a master manipulator in her own right. When she goes to the bank with her ex-boyfriend Wes and secret girlfriend Iris, the three of them are taken hostage by two bank robbers — who quickly learn they have no idea who they're messing with.

It was brought in by Aggregate Films' Tracey Nyberg and falls under Aggregate's overall deal with Netflix and will be published by Penguin Random House early next year.

Netflix is very interested in keeping Millie Bobby Brown on their payroll. She'd also star as Enola Holmes, Sherlock's rebellious teen sister. While also being involved with Netflix's most watched hit show Stranger Things. The show is expected to start shooting for its next season.

Bateman is also an integral part of the Netflix arsenal. Previously being applauded for his iconic role in Arrested Development as the lovable Michael Bluth. He's recently earned Emmy nominations for his role in Ozark. He plays a financial advisor turned a money launderer for a drug kingpin.

With such big names associated with the project, it's already catching people's eyes.
