Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine and others fight against Galactus in Fortnite’s new season

After a long wait Fortnite's new season, the game has officially launched. The game titled nexus war pits Marvel's ultimate heroes against the planet devouring Galactus.

However, it's not a surprise that this season will have Marvel heroes attached to it.  But now, the story and explicitly the characters that we'd see and play with have been revealed.

The comic-book detailing of the story elaborates on how the power of Fortnite's island lured Thor and Galactus, with Thor eventually summoning other heroes — including Iron Man, Wolverine, and Captain America — to help. At one point Thor drops his iconic hammer, and a crater actually appears on the Fortnite island in-game where it landed.

New season of Fortnite is also set to feature superpowers. It's the first time the game would feature special powers that will tilt the games' balance.

This much anticipated new season drops in the midst of a high stakes scenario with Apple over removal from their stores.

But as the legal battle rages on, the new marvel-themed season won't be available for those playing on Apple devices — that includes iPhone, iPad, and Mac — don't have access to the latest update.
