As the holy month of Ramadan begins, the renowned restaurant Rodela Bikel, located at M. A. Aziz Stadium Market in Chattogram, is attracting food enthusiasts with its exceptional and hygienic Iftar offerings.

Unlike other restaurants that sell Iftar items in open spaces amid dust and flies, Rodela Bikel ensures cleanliness and quality by preparing and serving its dishes in a fully glass-enclosed kitchen.

The restaurant stands out by using top-quality ingredients sourced both locally and internationally. Their famous Jilapi is fried in imported sunflower oil, while Paratha is cooked in pure desi ghee. Tandoori chicken kebabs are prepared using fresh local poultry, ensuring a delightful and authentic taste.

For the past 12 years, Rodela Bikel has gained popularity for serving high-quality, traditional dishes. This year's Iftar menu includes a wide variety of items, such as Duruś (whole roasted country chicken), Biryani, Kebabs, Momos, Haleem, Mezbani beef, Jilapi, and Firni, among many others, all prepared in a hygienic setting. While most restaurants in the city set up tables outside for Iftar sales, Rodela Bikel maintains an indoor setup, ensuring a dust-free, air-conditioned dining experience.
Health-conscious food lovers start flocking to the restaurant from 3 PM onwards to secure their favourite Iftar items.

Many customers return daily, preferring Rodela Bikel's premium selection over street-side alternatives. Dilshad Ahmed, a businessman and resident of Nasirabad Housing Society, who came to Rodela Bikel from his office in Khulshi, told The Business Standard, "Both the authentic taste and freshness of the food prepared here attract me the most. I come here every day to buy the delicious Jilapi and Haleem."

Amzad Hosen, another businessman from Agrabad, shared, "Almost all the dishes, including traditional 'Duruś' whole chicken roast, Biryani, Mezbani beef, chicken Haleem, mutton Haleem, Jilapi, and Firni, are so delicious. The most important thing is the hygiene they maintain and the pure ingredients they use for cooking."

Customers can choose between two Iftar set menus, priced at Tk 520 and Tk 820, offering a delicious assortment of items. The Tk 520 menu includes 10 items: dates, chickpeas, onion fritters, beguni (fried aubergine), zafrani milk Jilapi, sweet lassi, Mezbani beef or Tandoori chicken, paratha, puffed rice, and mutton samosa or singara.

The Tk 820 menu, which consists of 12 items, includes Jali Kebab, Raisin Firni, Premium Haleem, and Mango Juice instead of lassi, Mezbani beef, and paratha. Post-Iftar, the restaurant remains open until midnight, serving special milk tea, Lachha Paratha, Sweet Lassi, and Kulfi Ice Cream.

Rafiqul Bahar, owner of Rodela Bikel, highlighted the premium quality of ingredients used in their Iftar menu. "Rodela Bikel's Iftar menu is crafted with a fusion of premium international and local ingredients. We use Turkish sunflower oil, Dubai's Nido powdered milk, Spanish saffron, Kashmiri raisins, Australian refined sugar, Singaporean flour, and Indian spices. Locally sourced ingredients include Kushtia's goat meat, Banshkhali's country chicken, Hatiya's duck eggs, and Tangail's ghee."

Emphasising their commitment to quality, he added, "Our motto is 'Pure for Sure.' For the last 12 years, we have been striving to offer quality food to our valued customers, and we do not compromise on quality and hygiene."

With a reputation for "Pure & Tasty" Iftar, Rodela Bikel continues to set a high standard for quality and hygiene, making it a top choice for Chattogram's food lovers this Ramadan.
