Carpets and rugs make the best duo with its anchored furniture. So, their size, colour, and design are as important as any other furniture in your room.

Every different place has its own colour and energy. To embrace them, you always do not have to paint or colour because sometimes using colourful carpets and rugs might help to explore the spaces.

If there are more than one rug in a room, using different sized and coloured ones can make good contrasts. Playing with patterns or prints can also bring a bohemian feel to your room.

A white rug in front of a set of dark sofas would make them look more elegant. Sometimes even white on white makes a good pair as nothing can beat simplicity.

Choose carpets with cartoon prints for your children or 3D-printed flowery carpets for your living room.

If you are worried about where you can get these newbies from, here is the solution. To decorate your home with carpet and rugs, you can go and visit Satranji and local brand shops or search on websites like Alibaba or Bagdoom.

In Alibaba, plain, solid coloured carpets cost 45tk to 130tk per square foot. If you prefer more colourful or printed carpets and rugs, be ready to spare Tk2.5K to 8.5K for each. There is an option to find carpets and rugs from abroad as well.

Bagdoom can be a good source for floor mats or rugs and at convenient rates as well. Moreover, local shops at New market, Gausia, Gausul Azam supermarket, Mowchak market etc. can be your destinations if you prefer hunting and shopping with time.

Use different sized carpets and rugs to make your place look bigger and more vibrant. In your bedroom, hang a wall-to-wall carpet, it would make you feel warm and cozy.

If you prefer hardwood or tiled floor, just put rugs on the hallways, living room or in front of staircases or doors.  Your place would be a piece of vintage style.
