The Haier JCI Dhaka West Rise Up Run 2025 concluded with great success at Dhaka's Hatirjheel, uniting more than 1,500 participants to promote wellness, inclusivity, and civic engagement.

Hosted by JCI Dhaka West, the event celebrated 110 years of Junior Chamber International (JCI) and emphasised sustainable development and youth leadership.

The event featured two running categories — a 7.5km challenge and a 1km fun run — welcoming runners of all ages and backgrounds.

Kazi Fahad, national president of JCI Bangladesh, lauded the initiative for aligning with JCI's mission to empower active citizens.

"This run shows how passion and purpose can come together to drive real change," he said.

Local President Sujaur Rahman highlighted the run as a symbol of collective progress, while Event Director Md Tanvir Hasan and Convenor Md Sameen Rahman ensured smooth execution.

Diverse participants, from corporate teams to families, rallied around the UN Sustainable Development Goals, making the event both dynamic and inclusive.

With support from title sponsor Haier and other partners, the Rise Up Run is set to become an annual platform for health, unity, and leadership.

"When we rise together, we move the world forward."
