Major General Md Nazrul Islam, executive chairman of the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (Bepza), inaugurated the new Customs Office Building at Chattogram EPZ on Monday.

From the very beginning, customs activities of Chattogram EPZ were being conducted in different buildings, which was time consuming. Now, investors can complete all their customs related activities in the same building, he added.

Investors of Chattogram EPZ lauded the dedicated efforts of the Bepza to provide one-stop service by shifting all the customs related activities.

Mohammad Mahbub Hasan, joint commissioner of Chattogram Custom House, Santosh Soren, assistant commissioner, Chattogram EPZ Customs Bond Commissionerate, Moshiuddin Bin Mesbah, general manager of Chattogram EPZ and local and foreign investors of the commissionerate were present at the inaugural programme.
