Our Front-woman
Alongside being the band’s lead vocalist, Anusheh was also a songwriter.

Since the inception of Bangladesh, we have witnessed several bands rocking our music circuit from one hit wonders to crow favourites like Warfaze, Artcell and so one.
One such band that was indifferent to all was the popular fusion band 'Bangla' with the country's first female front man Anusheh Anadil. With a mixture of talented musicians the likes of Arnob, Buno, Kaartik, Shantanu and Nazrul, the band became popular in both Bangladesh and West Bengal.
In 2012, the singer released her first solo album 'Rai' with majority of the songs, penned and composed by her.
Alongside being the band's lead vocalist, Anusheh was also a songwriter. Born in Dhaka after the liberation war, through her encounters with the Bauls and Fakirs of Bengal, she found freedom in the philosophy and music they presented. She began performing with the band 'Bangla' in 1998.
Other than being a music icon, Anusheh is the founder and creative director of Jatra Bangladesh founded in 2000 as a creative space that promotes and popularizes Bangladeshi arts and crafts.
