This new season of 'Sisimpur' would air on Duronto TV everyday twice at 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm.

State minister of Information Dr. Murad Hasan mentions that all the channels of the country should Broadcast Sisimpur programme. He also remarked that programmes like Sisimpur should be made more in order to relieve children from the burden of heavy books. He was speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of the 12th season of Sisimpur last weekend.

He also added, Sisimpur is spreading Bengali culture among our children through Ikri, Tuktuki, Halum. The minister hoped that Sisimpur would continue to spread happiness like this for a long time. He thanked Sesame Workshop and USAID for taking this initiative.

The event was held at the Bengal Multimedia Studios in the capital where children from different school along with their parents were present to attend the ceremony.

The executive director of Sisimpur - Mohammad Shah Alam, media personnel Kha Ma Harun, Executive director of RTV – Humayun kabir Bablu, CEO of Duronto television – Avijit Chowdhury, Chief program officer Ali Haider and Executive producer of Sisimpur – Monowar Shahadat Darpon  were also present there.

Tuktuki, Halum, Ikri and Shiku of Sisimpur presented some of the interesting stories from the new season. This season's most notable issues are tolerance and diversity, as well as fun stories about health, nutrition and basic skills.
Sisimpur, funded by USAID, is a pre-childhood education program for Bangladeshi children aged 3-5 years which is making children more accomplished, more powerful and kinder towards people around them.

This new season of Sisimpur would air on Duronto TV everyday twice at 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm. 

Sisimpur (USAID's Early Childhood Development Mass Media Activity) is a four-year project under which new episodes, public awareness ads, three story books and e-learning materials will be created. New episodes include Early Grade Reading and USAID development goals; the issues related to the spread of democratic institutions and practices, health, climate change and changing conditions have been presented to suit the children.

Sesame Workshop Bangladesh distributes around 5,000 copies of books to primary school children, which will help them improve their Bengali reading skills.

Sisimpur is being developed with the help of Sesame Workshop and Asiatic Marketing Communication, which is working for children's knowledge, social and emotional development.
