The writer and one of the creators of the series Masuk Hossain talked about the storyline, "one evening we were talking about what kind of story can be used in the series and the idea came up that there are many incidents we witness in our everyday life which we hesitate to share."

The cinematographer, editor and one of the creators of the series Shubh Paul said, "I always wanted to make something different and when the IGTV platform was launched I decided to make content for this."

"I think this format will be very popular among the web audience and could be a great destination for content creators who want something more polished than cheap YouTube videos," he added.

"Dear Memories" is produced by Indiminds and Sublime Media. The web series will start streaming from 14 February, 2020 on BigBong's channel on IGTV.
