Wife to gift Tk20cr Monno Ceramic shares to her husband
The share transfer will be made as a gift outside the trading system of the stock exchange, according to a disclosure issued by the company
Afroza Khanam, a sponsor director of Monno Ceramic Industries, has announced her intention to transfer 24,50,000 shares of the company to her husband, Moynul Islam, who is a general shareholder of the firm.
According to a disclosure issued by the company today (13 October), the share transfer will be made as a gift outside the trading system of the stock exchange and is expected to be completed by 31 October 2025.
As of Monday, Monno Ceramic's shares were traded at Tk81 each during the 11:30 am session. Based on the current market price, the total value of the gifted shares amounts to approximately Tk20 crore.
