Trading in the stock markets end on Monday with indices fallout
Indices of the stock exchanges plunged over the liquidity crisis on Monday as most of the investors refrained from pouring money.
The downward trend continued for the last two days.
On the day, the key index DSEX of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) went down by 9 points to close at 6,218, where blue-chip index DS30 slightly rose to reach at 2,221.

The turnover value increased by 15% from the previous day but was still below the Tk400 crore mark.
During the session, only 14 scripts advanced, where 142 declined and 141 remained unchanged.
IT sector's Genex Infosys topped the turnover chart at the DSE with handover shares worth Tk38 crore.
Despite the selling pressure, ICB AMCL CMSF Golden Jubilee Mutual Fund took the top position in the gainer chart.
Besides, Bangladesh General Insurance had the worst shares on the day at the DSE.
The port city bourse Chittagong Stock Exchange's (CSE) all-share price index CASPI plunged over 26 points to 18,356 points.
