Bank Asia reported a 20% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit, reaching Tk250 crore in 2024, according to a price-sensitive statement approved at its board meeting on Wednesday.

The bank has recommended a 10% cash and 10% stock dividend for shareholders based on last year's performance.

Its consolidated earnings per share (EPS) rose to Tk2.14 in 2024, up from Tk1.79 the previous year.

The annual general meeting (AGM) to approve the dividend is scheduled for 17 June, with the record date set for 26 May.
