Stocks inch up despite investors' selling pressure

Equity indices of both the stock exchanges made advancement today during the first hour of the trading session as gaining streak continues despite investors' selling pressure.
DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 0.19% or 10 points to 5,508 till 11 am.
DSE turnover, a major market indicator, slightly rose by 4% to Tk450.36 crore in the corresponding period.

Meanwhile, Beximco Limited secured the apex position on the DSE turnover chart
During this time frame, DSE had 126 gainers against 131 losers, while prices of 78 scrips remained unchanged.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange(CSE) increased 16 points to 15,883 till 11 am.
