Shakil Rizvi Stocks signs API sharing agreement with DSE

In a bid to facilitate brokerage firms to trade from their own order management systems (OMS), Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has signed a user acceptance test agreement with Shakil Rizvi Stocks Limited on Tuesday.

In a statement, the premier bourse said that 25 brokerage firms had applied to share DSE's application program interface (API).

Of the 25, DSE has already signed agreements with Lanka Bangla Securities Ltd and United Financial Trading Company Ltd; Shakil Rizvi Stocks is the third institution to try the facility.

The user acceptance test agreement paper was signed by DSE Chief Operations Officer M Saifur Rahman Majumder; Managing Director of Shakil Rizvi Stocks Ltd Md Shakil Rizvi; and Advisor of Asian Tiger Capital Partners Md Nafeez Al Tarik, CFA, FRM.

DSE Managing Director Kazi Sanaul Hoq; Deputy General Managers Syed Al Amin Rahman and Shafiqur Rahman; Chief Executive Officer of Shakil Rizvi Stocks Ltd Sheikh Rizwan; and Vice President and IT Head of Asian Tiger Capital Partners Syed Anwar Hossain were also present in the ceremony.

Asian Tiger Capital Partners, a local partner of Kingdom Technologies, one of China's leading fintech firms, is working as Shakil Rizvi Stocks's technology vendor.
