Youth’s Voice and Pathao host iftar for over 1,000 children

Project Chauna Piyaju (PCP) 2025, one of Youth's Voice's most impactful humanitarian initiatives, reached a milestone this year. Held in six cities—Dhaka, Chittagong, Naogaon, Thakurgaon, Lalmonirhat, and Khulna—the event brought Ramadan joy to over 1,000 underprivileged children. Since its inception in 2011, PCP has grown in scale and impact, fostering inclusivity and compassion.
With the support of 350 volunteers and over 200 members and guests, this year's event went beyond iftar distribution. It created a festive atmosphere with entertainment, henna, face painting, and Eid gifts, ensuring that children who often miss out on celebrations felt valued. Each child also received a new Eid outfit and a Smile Pack containing essential Eid food items for their families.
This achievement was made possible through the generous partnership with Pathao and other valued sponsors. "Supporting Project Chauna Piyaju 2025 allowed us to bring joy to children who deserve to feel the spirit of Eid just as much as anyone else," said Abrar Hasnain, Vice President of Marketing at Pathao.
Dr Arefin Taher, President of Youth's Voice, added, "For 14 years, Project Chauna Piyaju has ensured no child is left out of Ramadan's joy. Expanding nationwide was a step toward making a greater impact."
Partners like BSRM, Art & Beauty by Alifa Noor, and Artland helped document the event, while JMG provided Vermicelli Shemai for the Smile Pack. Youth's Voice remains committed to empowering children through education and community support.
