YES organises ENACT focusing on policy and problem-solving
The Young Economists of Southeast University (YES) organised ENACT, a flagship academic and professional event, aimed at promoting critical thinking, policy-oriented dialogue, and real-world problem-solving among young people in Bangladesh.
The event featured several intellectually engaging segments, with the case study competition emerging as a key highlight. Participating teams analysed contemporary economic and policy challenges, presenting practical, data-driven solutions before a panel of judges.
Following a rigorous evaluation process, Team Macro Minds emerged as champion of the case study segment. Team Policy Pioneers secured the first runners-up position, while Team Nischit ROI became the second runners-up, demonstrating strong analytical depth, teamwork, and presentation skills.
ENACT brought together students, academics, professionals, alumni, and industry stakeholders, creating a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and leadership development. Discussions and activities throughout the event focused on key economic issues relevant to Bangladesh, including macroeconomic stability, investment trends, financial markets, and policy reform.
YES partnered with The Business Standard (TBS) as the official media partner, and TBS Graduates as the youth engagement partner. The collaboration enhanced the event's visibility and engagement with young professionals and the broader policy community.
Organisers said the initiative reflects YES's commitment to nurturing informed, capable, and socially responsible future economists and leaders who can contribute meaningfully to national development.
