Walton expands global market focus
Walton reinforced its international growth strategy by hosting the "Global Distributor Meet 2026" in Kathmandu, Nepal, bringing together over 250 distributors and business partners from Bangladesh and Nepal.
The event took place at a five-star hotel in Kathmandu on Wednesday, 29 April 2026, Walton said in a statement.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal, Md Shafiqur Rahman, attended as chief guest.
SM Mahbubul Alam, Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, joined virtually and told business partners, "Today, we are moving forward globally because of your tireless efforts and loyalty to Walton."
He noted that Walton has established a presence in more than 55 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
"This expanding global footprint reflects the universal appeal of our products and our strong ability to meet diverse customer needs worldwide. We are rapidly progressing towards reaching 100 countries with our products," he added.
Business partners and officials at the event expressed their commitment to expanding Walton's exports to over 100 countries.
Ambassador Shafiqur Rahman also unveiled 18 new models of Walton refrigerators, including a 165-litre single-door refrigerator tailored for the Nepali market.
