Uttara University hosts 9th Bangladesh International Youth Awards 2025

Uttara University hosted the 9th Bangladesh International Youth Awards (BIYA) 2025 at its Permanent Campus, celebrating outstanding young leaders, innovators, and changemakers from across the country. The prestigious event brought together distinguished guests, industry leaders, and inspiring youth dedicated to creating a positive impact in their communities.

The ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha, Vice-Chancellor of Uttara University, as the Chief Guest. Abdullah Al Mamun, Chief Adviser of Business Genius Bangladesh (BGB), chaired the event, while Jahida Begum, Manager at Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, attended as the Guest of Honour. Additionally, Kazi Tareq Ullah, Associate Professor at Uttara University, joined as a Special Guest, further highlighting the importance of youth-driven initiatives.

Organised by Business Genius Bangladesh (BGB) and executed by FoHTEM, BIYA 2025 served as a prestigious platform to recognise and honour young individuals who have made remarkable contributions in various fields. Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha emphasised the significance of empowering youth, stating, "At Uttara University, we believe in nurturing the talents and aspirations of young minds. BIYA 2025 has once again showcased the remarkable potential of our youth, reinforcing the importance of recognition and encouragement in shaping future leaders."

BIYA has long been a beacon of motivation for young achievers, and the 2025 edition continued this legacy by celebrating the dedication, resilience, and achievements of youth leaders striving to create a better future.

The resounding success of BIYA 2025 highlights the growing importance of youth-led initiatives in Bangladesh. As the nation moves forward, platforms like BIYA will remain essential in fostering an inclusive, progressive society driven by innovation and social impact.
