ULAB partners with Kaan Pete Roi for emotional support services
The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and Kaan Pete Roi signed a memorandum of understanding on 10 March 2026 to provide emotional support and suicide prevention services for ULAB students, faculty members and administrative staff.
The agreement establishes a collaborative framework between ULAB and the Kaan Pete Roi Emotional Support and Suicide Prevention Helpline to strengthen access to support services for the university community.
The memorandum of understanding was signed on behalf of Kaan Pete Roi by Arun Das, head of operations, and on behalf of ULAB by Md Mahmud Hossain, deputy director of the Student Affairs Office.
Also present at the signing ceremony were Ashik Abdullah, head of training and outreach at Kaan Pete Roi, Vice Chancellor Prof Shamsad Mortuza, PhD, and Registrar Lt Col Md Foyzul Islam (Retd.) from ULAB.
