UCB signs banking agreement with Trade International Industries
United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) has signed an agreement with Trade International Industries Ltd, a concern of Electro Mart Ltd and the sole distributor of Gree, Konka and Haiko brands in Bangladesh.
Under the agreement, UCB will provide banking services to Trade International Industries Ltd, with a particular focus on efficient payment collection from its nationwide network of distributors and dealers through the bank's branch network across the country.
The agreement signing ceremony was held recently at the corporate office of Trade International Industries Ltd. Nurul Afser, deputy managing director of Trade International Industries Ltd, and Shahbaj Talat, senior executive vice president and head of the transaction banking division of United Commercial Bank PLC, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Senior officials from both institutions were present at the ceremony.
According to the organisations, the collaboration is expected to support more streamlined financial operations within the consumer electronics and home appliance sector.
