Two more remittance clients win motorcycles in Islami Bank campaign
Main Uddin of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC's Cumilla Nangalkot branch and Mohammed Ziaul Huq, a CellFin user at the Feni branch, have won the 19th and 20th motorcycles in the bank's Cash Remittance Festival, awarded for remittances received via Ria Money Transfer.
Main Uddin's prize was linked to a remittance sent by Nasir Uddin, a Bangladeshi expatriate in the United States, while Mohammed Ziaul Huq won his prize through a remittance from Mohammed Mominul Hoque in South Africa.
Managing Director Md Omar Faruk Khan attended the digital raffle draw as chief guest at Islami Bank Tower on Sunday, 29 March 2026.
Also present were Deputy Managing Director Md Rafiqul Islam; Head of Foreign Remittance Services Division Md Motahar Hossain Mollah; Head of Overseas Banking Division Mohammad Shahadat Hossain; Head of Foreign Trade Processing Division Md Daud Khan; Ria Money Transfer Bangladesh Country Manager Rashedul Islam Talukder; and Assistant Manager, Operations, Md Arafat Hossain.
The bank launched the campaign during Ramadan for customers receiving cash remittances via Ria Money Transfer.
A total of 20 motorcycles were awarded through digital raffle draws held on each banking working day from Sunday to Thursday.
