Trust Bank honoured for remittance contribution in FY25
Trust Bank PLC has been honoured with the Remittance Award 2026 in recognition of its contribution to remittance mobilisation during the FY 2024–25.
The award was presented at the celebration of International Migrants Day and National Expatriates' Day 2025, held on Wednesday, 17 December, at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium.
The programme was attended by Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, as the chief guest.
The award was handed over by Asif Nazrul, Adviser to the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, to Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Trust Bank PLC.
The recognition reflects the bank's efforts to strengthen formal remittance channels, expand its global remittance network and provide secure, efficient and customer-focused services to non-resident Bangladeshis.
Trust Bank said it continues to play a role in supporting the country's foreign exchange reserves and promoting sustainable remittance inflows. The bank added that it remains committed to further enhancing its remittance infrastructure through digital innovation, strategic international partnerships and service excellence for expatriate Bangladeshis and their beneficiaries at home.
