Trust Bank, Grameenphone partner on digital transformation, payment services
Trust Bank PLC and Grameenphone have agreed to collaborate on digital transformation initiatives aimed at strengthening technological infrastructure and improving customer experience, the organisations said.
The collaboration was discussed at a meeting held recently at Trust Bank's head office, where Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, managing director and chief executive officer of Trust Bank PLC, and Yasir Azman, chief executive officer of Grameenphone, led their respective teams. The parties said they outlined a roadmap to introduce digital payment solutions.
Under the partnership, the two organisations said they will work on products and services related to digital payments, customer-focused campaigns and technology upgrades aimed at improving convenience and accessibility.
Among those present were Akhlasur Rahman Bhuiyan and Md Kamal Hossain Sarker, deputy managing directors of Trust Bank; Md Mahboob Hossain, senior executive vice president (SEVP) and head of business division; Brig Gen Md Mamun or Rashid, SEVP and head of GSSD; and from Grameenphone, Dr Asif Naimur Rashid, chief business officer, M Shaon Azad, director and head of large accounts, and Mahbubur Rahman, general manager and head of large account 4, along with other senior officials.
