TEDxRUET to ignite minds starting february 7th

Dreams remain caged, imaginations left untapped, stifled beneath the weight of cluttered, routine lives.

But on February 7, 2025, at Zilla Shilpakala Academy, Rajshahi, a gateway will open—a space where ideas breathe, stories ignite, and possibilities unfold.

TEDxRUET: Empowering Imagination is set to bring together some of the most compelling voices of our time, inviting speakers from diverse backgrounds to share ideas that challenge, inspire, and transform. This year's speaker lineup features Hasin Hayder, a renowned programming leader whose bold career shifts and teaching ability have made him an icon in the tech world. Cartoonist Tanmoy (Syed Rashad Imam Tanmoy), the founder of Cartoon People and a nationally acclaimed artist, will bring the power of visual storytelling to the stage. Adding a unique artistic person, Aia Lemonsky (Asif Iqbal), the vocalist of the band Kaaktaal, will bring the rhythm of creativity to the TEDxRUET stage.

Adding to the event's vibrancy, Nazifa Anjum Tusi, an award-winning actress and model known for her roles in Hawa, Networker Baire, and Syndicate, will share insights from the world of arts and entertainment. Mohammed Enayetur Rahman, CEO of Ulkasemi and a government-recognised Commercially Important Person (CIP), will shed light on Bangladesh's growing influence in the semiconductor industry. The magician of our Academia genre, Dr Muhammad Abdul Goffar Khan, Director of IQAC at Varendra University and an ex-professor at RUET will contribute his vast expertise in engineering and academia.

The stage will also welcome Aysha Akter, Head of HR at SQ Birichina Ltd., who will bring their perspectives on leadership, sustainability, and behavioural transformation.  Jakaria Jalal, Head of Project at Bashundhara Chemical Industry Ltd., will be spotlighted for his prosperity in such a short period. RokaiYa Ahmed Purna, one of South Asia's most influential fashion designers, will inspire attendees with her journey through the evolving landscape of fashion and design.

The event, meticulously organised by a group of RUET students, will be more than just a collection of speeches—it will be an exchange, a current of ideas flowing around. While the speakers bring their insights, the experience extends beyond words. Attendees will find themselves absorbed in the room's energy, drawn into shared ideas, and perhaps become part of the dialogue subtly and profoundly.

We sincerely thank our esteemed Title Sponsor, BDApps, for stepping up and supporting our cause. To ensure convenience and comfort, Novoair joined us as our Air Partner. Also, to add more colour to the event, Speed from Akij Food & Beverage Ltd. joined us as the Beverage Partner. Our print media partner, the Business Standard, will spread the word about our event.

The curtains will be up at 3 PM; attendees can expect a day filled with diverse perspectives, compelling stories, and moments that will linger in their hearts long after. Whether you're an aspiring innovator, a curious thinker, or someone seeking inspiration, TEDxRUET: Empowering Imagination promises an unforgettable and unmatched experience.

These ideas clamour to be heard: ideas that question perspectives, invoke curiosity and inspire action. They propagate and take on their own lives, transforming the world unexpectedly. TEDxRUET is built on the belief that shared ideas can transform individuals and societies alike.
