Sylhet’s Kawser Ahmed wins Tk 10 lakh with Walton fridge purchase
Kawser Ahmed from Sylhet has become a millionaire after winning Tk 10 lakh by purchasing a Walton brand refrigerator under the company's ongoing nationwide Digital Campaign Season-22.
Prior to Kawser, Ali Martuza, a small trader from Dhaka; Rasel Fakir, a college student from Charbhadrasan upazila in Faridpur; and Khokon Mia, a farmer from Netrokona, also became millionaires by purchasing Walton fridges in Season-22.
Popular film actor Amin Khan, Walton's chief marketing officer Zoheb Ahmed, and Walton Fridge's chief marketing officer Tahasinul Haque handed over a cheque worth Tk 10 lakh to Kawser at a ceremony held at Walton Plaza's Kanaighat branch in Sylhet on Tuesday, 18 March 2025.

In Season-22, customers have the chance to win Tk 10 lakh by purchasing Walton brand refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, or BLDC fans from any Walton Plaza or distributor outlet across the country. Additionally, crores of taka in sure cashback are also available for customers. These benefits will continue until Eid-ul-Azha this year.
Kawser Ahmed purchased a fridge from Walton Plaza's Kanaighat branch for Tk 25,500 on 5 March 2025. His name, mobile number, and the model number of the purchased fridge were digitally registered. Shortly after, he received a message from Walton notifying him that he had won Tk 10 lakh in cashback.
Expressing his joy, Kawser said, "This Eid will be the best Eid for my family. Thanks to the Walton authorities."
The cheque handover ceremony was attended by Walton Plaza's chief divisional officer Sumon Mia, divisional credit manager Maksud Alam, regional sales manager Sahadat Hossain, regional credit manager Touhid Bin Monoar, and Kanaighat branch manager Aminul Islam, among others.
