Square Toiletries collaborates with Borno Mela to promote Bangla language

"Borno Mela 2025," organized by Prothom Alo and sponsored by Meril Baby, was held at the Sultana Kamal Women's Sports Complex in Dhanmondi. Alongside Meril Baby, Square Toiletries Limited's brands Supermom and Sepnil also collaborated in the event, making it a vibrant celebration of the Bangla language.
This year's Borno Mela featured engaging activities for children, including games, cultural programs, and competitions designed to spark interest in the Bangla alphabet and make learning enjoyable. To nurture a love for the mother tongue, Meril Baby's vibrant "Borno Stall" provided alphabet-based games, doodle art, and exciting gifts, enhancing the joy of learning. Parents also received valuable insights on infant care and safety, ensuring a secure future for their children.
At Sepnil's "Amar Borno Amar Hate" stall, children crafted their favorite letters from clay and painted them, taking their handmade creations home as decorative pieces. The stall also emphasized the importance of cleanliness and proper handwashing techniques.
Supermom's "Home" was another major attraction, offering a breastfeeding corner and diaper-changing facilities for mothers and newborns. Additionally, expert doctors provided free health consultations, ensuring a worry-free experience for parents throughout the event.
The festival was filled with the joy of childhood, as cultural activities showcased the history, traditions, and heritage of Bangladesh to the younger generation. The event featured alphabet-themed games, traditional village activities, historical exhibits on the Language Movement, language-inspired fashion, books, food, and performances, including songs, poems, puppet shows, and a stamp exhibition. The event was graced by the country's leading writers, artists, musicians, intellectuals, and other distinguished guests.
Dr. Jesmin Zaman, Head of Marketing at Square Toiletries Limited, stated, "Our goal is to instill in the next generation a deep appreciation and respect for the mother tongue and the country's heritage and culture. The history of the Bangla language is rich and filled with struggles. Square Toiletries Limited believes that such initiatives play a vital role in fostering love and interest in the mother tongue."
Children and parents thoroughly enjoyed the festival, which will serve as an inspiration to nurture love for the Bangla language and culture.
