Southeast University signs MoU with Washington University of Science and Technology
Southeast University (SEU), Bangladesh, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Washington University of Science and Technology (WUST), Alexandria, USA. The signing ceremony was held at the WUST campus in Alexandria on 19 June 2025.
The MoU seeks to foster collaborative development through joint research projects, faculty and student exchange programmes, academic innovation, and shared learning resources. The agreement was signed by Professor Dr Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of Southeast University, and Mr Abubokor Hanip, Chairman and Chancellor of WUST. Dr Hasan Karabuk, President of WUST, also attended the event.
Professor Dr Yusuf Mahbubul Islam expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "This MoU opens new horizons for our students and faculty by enhancing international exposure and fostering meaningful research collaboration."
