Southeast University holds summer admission test
Approximately 1,100 students participated in the undergraduate admission test at Southeast University, competing for places across the School of Business Studies, School of Engineering, School of Arts and Social Sciences, and School of Information Technology.
Candidates seeking admission to different programmes under the School of Business Studies, School of Engineering, School of Arts and Social Sciences, and School of Information Technology first appeared for a written test.
Candidates who pass the written test will be invited for a viva voce as the next stage of the admission process.
Parents and guardians accompanied the candidates to campus and expressed appreciation for the facilities and environment.
Vice-chancellor Professor Dr Yusuf Mahbubul Islam stated that Southeast University is among the country's leading higher education institutions.
He said Southeast parents and guardians also accompanied the students to the campus and expressed appreciation for the campus environment.
Speaking about the admission test, Southeast University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Yusuf Mahbubul Islam said the university is one of the leading higher education institutions in the country.
He added that Southeast University ensures practical, skill-based education through modern facilities and contemporary curricula.
Professor Dr Yusuf Mahbubul Islam said that students who pass the admission test would develop the University, which would ensure practical, skill-based education through modern facilities and contemporary curricula.
He noted that successful candidates would develop their intellect, expertise, soft skills, and human qualities through dedication and effort over four years of study.
'This will not only build their careers but also equip them to contribute significantly to the country's overall development,' he added.

Pro-vice-chancellor Professor Dr M Mofazzal Hossain, registrar Major General Md Anwarul Islam (retd), and faculty deans visited the examination centres and enquired about the candidates.
