Southeast Bank supports agricultural research at Khulna University

Southeast Bank PLC has extended financial assistance to Khulna University under its special corporate social responsibility (CSR) fund to support the university's research activities.
Nuruddin Md Sadeque Hossain, Managing Director of Southeast Bank, handed over the cheque to Professor Dr Md Noor Un Nabi, Treasurer of Khulna University, at a formal event.
Also present at the occasion were Professor Md Rejaul Islam, Head of Agrotechnology Discipline; Professor Dr Md Shafiqul Islam; and Professor Dr Md Matiul Islam of Khulna University.
From Southeast Bank, Deputy Managing Directors Md Masum Uddin Khan and Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, and Senior Vice President and Head of CSR Division Md Musfiqur Rahman were also present.
It is worth mentioning that Southeast Bank has extended similar financial support to several other institutions including Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University in Dhaka, Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University in Gazipur, Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Habiganj Agricultural University, and Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University.
This initiative reflects Southeast Bank's continued commitment to promoting agricultural research and contributing to national development through its CSR programmes.
