Sony Expo 2025 kicks off in Dhaka

The biggest SONY product exhibition of the year has begun at the InterContinental Dhaka, bringing together the brand's latest innovations for Bangladeshi consumers under one roof.
The two-day fair, titled Sony Expo 2025, opened on Friday morning and will continue until Saturday night, with doors open daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Organised by Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, widely known as Sony-Smart and the official distributor of SONY in Bangladesh, the exhibition offers visitors a chance to experience, purchase and enjoy exclusive deals on newly launched products.
Among the featured items are the latest SONY televisions, including Bravia 5, Bravia 2II, and QD-OLED Bravia 8II, along with premium sound solutions such as Bravia Theatre System 6, Bravia Theatre Bar 6, and ULT Field 3 and 5 speakers. The new AN7 Neckband Headphones, officially launched in Bangladesh on 25 September, are also on display.
Customers purchasing from the fair will benefit from special promotional prices and have the chance to win attractive gifts, including SONY's Bar 6 sound system, AN7 Neckband headphones and Smart Android Air Mouse devices.
The exhibition was inaugurated by RMDC SONY Southeast Asia President Bae Ji Hoon and Smart Technologies (BD) Limited Managing Director Mohammad Zahirul Islam. Also present were SONY International Bangladesh Head Ricky Lukas, Sony-Smart Director Md Tanvir Hossain, Head of Sales and General Manager Md Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury, and Head of Marketing and Deputy General Manager Azad Rahman, along with media representatives and employees.
Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, the country's leading ICT product marketer, signed an official distributorship agreement with SONY on 26 November 2021, becoming the authorised distributor of the Japanese multinational's electronics and related services in Bangladesh.
