Taslima Khatun, an elderly woman of approximately 50 years, was found in a frail condition outside the Shwapno outlet in Sonadanga, Khulna, on 2 July 2025. On-duty Shwapno staffs noticed her lying sick and observed that she had sustained a head injury. They promptly offered her juice and food but later noticed that her wound had begun to fester and her overall physical condition was deteriorating.

Mohammad Masum Billah, Head of Administration (Crisis Management, Recovery, and Compliance) at Shwapno, said, "As soon as the matter came to my attention, I discussed it with our Managing Director Mr Sabbir Hasan Nasir. Following his instructions, we arranged immediate medical treatment for the elderly woman. As per his directive, Dr Sohel Moinuddin Shoibal, Head of Corporate Affairs, was present at the scene. Shwapno expresses sincere gratitude to the police and fire service officials who assisted in admitting her to hospital. We have always stood by the helpless, and we will continue to do so, this is our commitment."

Sabbir Hasan Nasir, Managing Director of Shwapno, said, "We, the Shwapno Warriors, fight against nightmares to the best of our ability. A mother is the centre of a family and society. I thank the law enforcement agencies for standing by this destitute mother. It is important to find out who inflicted the head injury on her, and I hope the authorities will investigate the matter thoroughly."
