Royal Oranje secures Super 6 spot at Hua Hin Nations Cup

Royal Oranje, a specialised futsal club, proudly represented Bangladesh at the prestigious Hua Hin Nations Cup, a 7-a-side international football tournament held at True Arena in Hua Hin, Thailand. Featuring 18 countries, the tournament showcased exceptional global talent in futsal and turf football.

Placed in a competitive group alongside England, Denmark, Ghana, China, and Japan, Team Bangladesh displayed skill and determination, achieving outstanding results in the group stage. They secured victories against Denmark by 4-2, Ghana by 2-0, China by 2-0, and Japan by 4-0. Despite a 2-0 loss to England, Team Bangladesh emerged as Group Runner-Up, advancing to the prestigious Super 6 round.

In the Super 6 stage, Bangladesh encountered tournament favourites Russia and Sweden. Despite their spirited efforts, the team fell short against these powerhouses. England ultimately claimed the trophy, defeating Sweden in the final.

Concluding their campaign, Team Bangladesh participated in a friendly 6-a-side match in Bangkok against the Filipino Football Community in Thailand. They delivered a stellar performance, securing a comprehensive victory and ending their journey on a high note.
