Romana Rouf Chowdhury re-elected chairman of Bank Asia Securities
Romana Rouf Chowdhury has been re-elected as the chairman of Bank Asia Securities Limited at its 14th annual general meeting held on 23 April.
She is also a director of Bank Asia PLC. With a career spanning over 26 years, Romana Rouf Chowdhury is regarded as one of the country's leading industrialists. She is the managing director of Sea Resources Group, Sea Fishers Limited, and Sea Natural Foods Limited—organisations she helped build from the ground up in the food industry. She also serves as a director in several sister concerns of Rangs Group.
Romana Rouf Chowdhury holds a bachelor's degree from BRAC University and an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology. She has furthered her education through executive programmes at Columbia Business School and Harvard Business School.
